    Marchesi 1824 offers a new interpretation of the classic Panettone with a sweet and intense flavour: the Apple, Cinnamon and Caramel Panettone. In this great leavened cake, Marchesi's classic dough -- which is the result of slow and skilful process exclusively using sourdough starter -- is enhanced with fine ingredients such as cinnamon, semi-candied apple, and salted caramel cubes.Compared to common yeasts, sourdough requires more time and care during the leavening process to allow for the development of microorganisms that offer multiple beneficial qualities and a truly unique flavour.
