Marchesi 1824 presents a new interpretation of the Classic Panettone cake with a rich, delicious flavour: the Apricot Panettone. In this great leavened cake, the classic Marchesi dough, the result of a slow and skilful process exclusively using yeast starter, is enhanced with the aroma of naturally candied apricots. Compared to ordinary yeast, production with yeast starter requires more time and care to permit the development of microorganisms that possess many beneficial qualities and have a unique flavour.
WHEAT flour, candied apricot cubes 24% (apricot cubes, glucose syrup, sugar), fresh BUTTER, fresh EGG yolk free-range, water, cane sugar, natural yeast (WHEAT flour, water), honey, salt, natural flavouring (vanilla pods). May contain traces of NUTS, SOY and MUSTARD.
